{Ponder This} What feels right for you as you kick-off the New Year?
It’s a New Year, and it’s time for a New Beginning.
Around this time of the year, there’s a lot of chatter about how people want to start the New Year. For some folks this time of the year means getting focused and setting resolutions, and for others it means running as far away as possible from any and all structured, goal-setting resolution talk.
Let this be the year that you kick-off the New Year doing what feels right for you. There’s no right way to do it, and there shouldn’t be any expectations around how you want to jumpstart this new beginning. The possibilities of what you can do are in your hands; don’t let someone else’s opinion override what will have meaning for you.
Perhaps what feels right is committing to a New Year’s resolution, or signing-up for an e-program you’ve had your eye on for a while now. Or better yet, maybe your inner voice is leading you to simply go with the flow and let the year unfold as it may. Trust what’s there and what feels right for you. Each year is different and at different points of our lives we need different things. It’s the same with the start of a New Year.
If you’ve been on the fence about how to start your New Year, or if you’ve just flat out avoided thinking about it because of all the hype around it – it’s time to let that go. Take a deep breath and know that you just need to go with what feels right for you. Ask yourself – What feels right for me as I kick-off the New Year? Then allow yourself to be guided by the answer to that question.
